Different Vocations....One Mission
Good Shepherd people are Religious Sisters, married and single persons. Some are folks who have careers elsewhere but come together in groups of Associates, some are professional social service staff, secretaries, maintenance personnel or fundraisers. Some work for pay or volunteer their time to help others- some are board members. The Sisters of the Good Shepherd have been rooted in the teachings and values held in the Catholic Faith and have embraced their time-honoured tradition of collaboration with all persons from diverse religious traditions who recognize and choose to walk with them joined by our commonly held values.
While we are all different, our single unifying gift is our commitment to ONE MISSION.....The mission of the Good Shepherd who searches out the lonely and lost and devotes his or her energies in a spirit of compassion, reconciliation and healing. Interested in learning more about us? Interested in joining us? Ask yourself one simple question. Are you the kind of person who may have the Heart of a Shepherd?
